Terms & Conditions of service

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of cleaning services by Royal Cleaning by Yulia ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to you ("the Client," "you," or "your"). By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Agreement & Booking

Booking & Estimate: All services are subject to a confirmed booking. Quotes or estimates are based on the information provided by the Client at the time of booking. The final price may be adjusted if the actual condition of the property differs significantly from what was described, requiring additional time or effort.
Access: The Client must provide safe and clear access to the property at the scheduled time. If our team is unable to gain access due to Client error, a lock-out fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service cost will be charged.
Pets & Children: For their safety and the safety of our staff, the Client is responsible for securing all pets and supervising children during the cleaning appointment.

2. Scope of Services

Service Checklists: A detailed list of tasks included in each cleaning package (e.g., Standard Clean, Deep Clean) is available upon request and forms part of this agreement.
Exclusions: Our services expressly exclude cleaning of biohazards (including mold and human or animal waste), pest infestations, or any task requiring a licensed professional (e.g., electrical, plumbing). We are not liable for cleaning items of extraordinary value (e.g., fine art, antiques, jewelry, cash) and recommend they are secured prior to our arrival.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

Tidy: Remove excessive clutter from surfaces and floors to allow for efficient cleaning.
Disclose Hazards: Inform us of any potential hazards (e.g., broken flooring, known mold, aggressive pets).
Secure Valuables: Secure all valuables, important documents, and fragile items.

4. Pricing, Payment & GST

Pricing: All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars. Royal Eco Cleaning is a GST-registered business. GST will be added to all invoices as required by law.
Payment Terms: Payment is due in full on the day of service, unless a prior credit agreement is in place. We accept [e.g., Credit Card, Debit, E-Transfer, Cash].
Late Payment: Invoices not paid within 7 days of the service date will incur a late administration fee of 5% on the outstanding balance.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling of any appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to extreme weather, staff illness, or other unforeseen events that pose a safety risk, and will work with you to rebook at the earliest convenience.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not fully satisfied with your cleaning, you must notify us in writing (via email) within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to re-clean the specific areas of concern at no additional cost.

7. Liability & Insurance

Royal Cleaning by Yulia carries comprehensive commercial general liability insurance and Workplace Compensation Board (WCB) coverage for our employees as required by Alberta law.
We exercise great care while performing our services. However, the Client agrees to report any accidental damage in writing to us within 24 hours of service completion. Our total liability for any claim of loss or damage is limited to the total value of the service rendered or $1,000, whichever is less. This limitation does not apply to damage caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Client is liable for any damage to our equipment or injury to our staff caused by the Client's negligence, unsafe conditions, or pets on the property.

8. Privacy & Security (PIPA Compliance)

We collect personal information (e.g., address, contact details) solely for the purpose of scheduling and performing cleaning services.
If keys or access codes are provided, they are stored securely, separately from your personal information, and are destroyed upon termination of our service or at your request. We will never share your information with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate a recurring service agreement by providing 7 days' written notice to the other party.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
